Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Take Levitra exactly as directed.
The usual dosage of Levitra is one tablet taken 25 to 60 minutes before sexual activity. With sexual stimulation, you may achieve an erection anywhere from 25 minutes up to 24 hours after taking Levitra. Swallow one tablet with a glass of water. You can take Levitra with or without food, but preferably not after a heavy or high-fat meal.
Do not take more than one dose in any 24 hour period. |
| What special precautions i should follow ? |
| Before taking Levitra, tell your doctor if:
you are allergic to any medicines;
you are taking or have recently taken nitrates such as nitroglycerin;
you have a physical abnormality of your penis; liver or kidney problems; angina, heart disease or a low blood pressure; or you have recently suffered a stroke. |
